The United States has asked Uzbekistan to join the coalition against Islamic State, a U.S. official said Thursday. Daniel Rosenblum, U.S. deputy assistant secretary of state for Central Asia, told reporters the country can choose how it would like to contribute to the fight against ISIS, Reuters reports.
